Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne
A visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne on Monday because it was very foggy and I wanted to see the gardens under the shroud of fog. I have visited the gardens many times normally on a bright sunny day. How different the gardens looked through the blanket fog, almost eerie in places, it was so very quiet apart from the sounds of the birds from time to time. Really enjoyed my visit!!

Frankston View's In Panorama
A beautiful winters day down by the sea at Frankston Pier. Not a breath
of wind, the sea so calm, sun just breaking through, the sky with it's
magical colours through the clouds. What a spot to take some photo's
with the view in mind to practice stitching some together as a panorama.

Fishermen Tooradin
Fog won't stop them!!
I would have to say that there are still some die hard fishermen around today. It was early morning, very, very cold, very foggy, the sun not yet up. Yet there they were down at the waters edge, fishing poles in the water, boats already in the water, motors were already running. I wonder if the fish were biting???

Coolart Homestead
Coolart Wetlands and Homestead this former farming property is a lovely place to get close to nature, bird life in particular with the wetland observatory, and bird hide tucked away on the edge of the wetland. Explore the gardens or the Historic Old Homestead. We will visit Coolart again but we will allow more time to explore!!
