Last Saturday we visited Wilsons Promontory National Park with our son and his fiance, it was a beautiful sunny day, just perfect for enjoying the views of the prom. Wilsons Promontory is the Southern most tip on the Australian mainland. What does it have to offer, rugged coastline, beautiful sandy beaches, mountain ranges, rainforests, open bushland, unforgettable scenery. Sadly due to the severe floods in March 2011 some parts of the park are still not open to the public, but there is still plenty to see and do in the areas that are open.
