Cyclamens

Cyclamens are one of my all time favorite plants, I have never had much luck growing them in a pot, but have had great success growing then in my fernery amongst large and small ferns alike. I have had best results when planting them in dappled shade in soil that allows good drainage. I have been amazed this summer with the extremely hot temperatures, my Cyclamens have thrived and are already in flower and have grown some of the largest leaves I've ever seen on my Cyclamen.

Cyclamens are quite long flowering - generally from April through winter and into spring. Some are perfumed and they are available in a rich tapestry of colours ranging from white, to pink, red and mauve, they always brighten up the garden.
