Nyerimilang Heritage Park

While visiting East Gippsland we called into another Parks Victoria run park, Nyerimilang Heritage Park and homestead. The park is on the shores of the Gippsland lakes, 10 kilometres north-west of Lakes Entrance. The park is a great way to spend an hour or two, wandering through the gracious old homestead that was built in the 1920's , the semi formal gardens or along one of the many interesting walking tracks. I quite enjoyed the old farm buildings and machinery, it made for a busy afternoon with the camera.

After Dark Lakes Entrance

We had a night away to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we stayed in Lakes Entrance and while there took the opportunity to take some photos. One of the things we wanted to try was some shots of a sunset  by the water and some shots after dark. We had practiced some night shots closer to home but wanted something a little more challenging. Although we took a lot of dud shots, perseverance saw some great photos from us in the end.
