Morton Family Plot " Pioneer Family Waanyarra"
We called into Waanyarra Historic Cemetery c1850 Central Victoria while
in the area on the weekend. The information sign, etched onto stainless
steel tells the story of early burials in the cemetery where the bodies
of the deceased were laid to rest encased between two pieces of bark. It was nice to see the restoration work being done to preserve this Historic Cemetery.
